What is ITech Hackathon ?

 

​About 

ITech Hackathon is the first joint IDC Herzliya & Technion Hackathon. 

ITech Hackathon is a two and a half day entrepreneurial competition. It is intended for university students to gain practical experience, knowledge, and provides a fantastic networking opportunity within Israel's Start-up industry. 

 

Format of the competition

 

• 40 entrepreneurs: twenty students from IDC Herzliya and twenty students from Technion are selected according to their CV’s and interview’s.

 

• Those accepted will be put into groups of 4 and will be required to build the fundamentals of a venture over the course of two days.

 

• During the two days, accomplished mentors from various industries guide the groups.

 

• The location of the event will be at Googles' hackspace - Campus Tel Aviv.

 

• The event will take place from April 29th until May 1st.
